Affiliate Guide
This guide explains the affiliate function in IAMMETER Contributor Center, the reward rules, and how to understand the current affiliate model.
1. What Affiliate Means
Affiliate is one contribution path inside Contributor Center.
If your referral link helps IAMMETER generate valid orders, the system can generate affiliate rewards for you.
There are three core rules you should remember:
- any buyer using an affiliate link receives a
1%discount - when another user completes a purchase through your affiliate link, the affiliate link owner receives RP equal to
10%of the cash-paid portion of that order - when you place an order through your own affiliate link, you only receive the discount and do not receive affiliate RP reward
2. Where to Use Affiliate
Open:
You can see:
- your affiliate profile status
- your referral code
- your referral link
- reward summary
- reward history
3. Basic Flow
- Open
https://contributor.iammeter.com/affiliate - Apply for affiliate access
- Wait for admin review
- After approval, get your referral code and referral link
- Share the link
- A valid order is created through your link
- The system creates a pending reward
- After admin approval, the reward is credited into RP
4. Discount and Reward Rules
4.1 Buyer Discount
If a valid order is created through an affiliate link, the buyer receives a discount.
The current default discount is:
1%
This discount is applied to item price before the system calculates RP deduction and cash due.
4.2 Another User Buys Through Your Link
If another user buys through your affiliate link:
- the buyer gets the
1%discount - you can receive affiliate RP reward
Current reward logic:
- reward is based on
10%of the cash-paid portion of the order - RP-deducted amount does not count toward the reward base
4.3 You Buy Through Your Own Link
If you place your own order through your own affiliate link:
- you can still receive the discount
- you do not receive affiliate RP reward
This rule allows self-purchase discount but prevents self-referral RP loops.
5. How Affiliate Reward Is Calculated
Current logic:
- affiliate reward is calculated only from the cash-paid portion of an order
- the current default reward ratio is
10% - RP-deducted amount is excluded
That means:
- a pure RP order does not generate affiliate reward
- a mixed payment order rewards only the cash-paid part
- a full cash order rewards the full cash-paid amount
6. Why Reward Does Not Enter RP Immediately
Affiliate reward currently requires admin review.
Typical statuses include:
- pending review
- credited
- rejected
- revoked
Only after approval does it enter the RP ledger.
7. What You Can See on the Affiliate Page
On https://contributor.iammeter.com/affiliate, you can usually see:
- whether you already have an affiliate profile
- whether the profile is active
- referral code
- referral link
- reward records
- order-related reward status
8. Recommended Usage
What you should share:
- real use cases that fit IAMMETER
- tutorials or examples consistent with your own experience
- content that helps users understand IAMMETER value
What you should avoid:
- exaggerated promotion
- claims that do not match actual product capability
- low-quality spam-like promotion
9. Affiliate and Contribution
Affiliate is not a completely separate product line.
It is one contribution path inside Contributor Center.
You can think of it like this:
- through recommendation, sharing, and valid orders, you contribute to IAMMETER growth
That is why affiliate belongs inside the broader contribution story.
